[Her'Mek]

Under the light of three moons, Her'Mek trudged through the sand. The Sandcrawler had stopped about a mile or two outside Mos Eisley to stock up and refuel and Her'Mek had decided his time as a scrubber was finished. While the other clannies weren't looking, Her'Mek grabbed the meager collection of dental supplies he had acquired in a satchel and skulked away from the Sandcrawler and into the night, toward the port. After he had distanced himself a bit from the Sandcrawler his skulk turned into a sprint, and then a slow jog. Now Her'Mek was walking at a steady, if lethargic, pace. When he spotted the lights of Mos Eisley in the distance, his hobble became a sprint once again. "This is it!" he thought "Mos Eisley spaceport, a real city, a place with loads of people who will appreciate some good dentistry!" As he approached the outskirts of the city his pearly whites curled up into a definite smile. Most Jawas' teeth weren't visible behind their hoods, as they were blackened with years of indifference. Her'Mek's teeth, however, shone brightly, due to his impeccable dental hygiene. Her'Merk had a reason to smile, he was here, and was ready to make a splash in the dental world.

Ric landed his ship at the Mos Eisley spaceport. Even though it was a "fucking shithole" as his friend Obi-Wan Kenobi had once observed, he knew that there were few other places in the Galaxy where he could get some top notch dental work at bargain basement prices.

"Now to find myself a crack dentist," Ric observed.

[Her'Mek]

Her'Mek wandered the streets of Mos Eisley, toothbrush in hand. Admittedly, he had no real idea of how to start a Dentistry practice, but soon learned that in a place like Mos Eisley anything goes. He set up shop outside the cantina and was soon open for business. Most of his first customers were Rontos and Dewbacks which had been tied up outside the cantina. He cleaned their teeth free of charge. The Rontos were especially tricky, as he first needed to climb up their necks, then hang upside down in front of their face in order to really get at the gums. The Rontos generally did not like this and much hilarity...and pain...ensued. Once, the owner of a Dewback threw a rock at him. He took this to mean the owner was paying him for his services and his heart soared. He felt he would soon be on his way to sentient customers; customers who hopefully would not attempt to eat him as he cleaned their teeth. He could only dream for now, but somehow he knew he was on his way up...

Ric wandered into one of the newer dental facilities. Time for that teeth whitening!

[Her'Mek]

As if it was a dream, Her'Mek saw a blindingly handsome man walk by his stand. He seemed to be impeccably groomed, with the exception of a conspicuous coffee stain or two on his otherwise heavenly teeth. "Oh god!" he thought "Wouldn't it be amazing if he was here for some dentistry!" He readied his implements and prepared for the encounter that could change his life forever..."Hello sir" Her'Mek said "A handsome man such as yourself shouldn't be brought down by a coffee stain or two! Can I interest you in some world class dentistry? Utini!"

[Ric Olie]

Ric paused for a moment when he discovered himself fact to face with a Jawa holding a toothbrush. Even more disconcerting was the way the Jawa was looking him up and down, as if he was undressing Ric with his glowing yellow eyes.

"Oh well," Ric said aloud to no one in particular, "when in Tatooine, do as the Tatooinians do."

[Her'Mek]

"So I take it that's a yes? Utini!" Her'Mek replied. "Great! Sit...er....on this rock here and we can get started. Might I say you're looking impeccable today!"

[Ric Olie]

Ric sat down on the rock.

"I've never had such a short dentist," Ric again observed to no one in particular.

At the sound of his voice, his face turned a crimson red.

"I've got to stop voicing my every thought," Ric said aloud.

[Her'Mek]

Her'Mek scrubbed away at Ric's pearly whites but the coffee stains wouldn't come out. He even tried an ion blast or two! No avail. "Why kind of coffee were you drinking?" Her'Mek inquired.

[Ric Olie]

Ric didn't know.

"I don't know!" he exclaimed in a voice unsuitably loud for the situation.

[Her'Mek]

"Personally, I'd recommend we just pull em' all out and get you some dentures at this point! Utini!" Her'Mek replied

Ric considered this for just a moment.

"I've considered this for just a moment," Ric mentioned with great gusto, "and I've decided to agree."

OOC: You've just agreed with me basically... Ok to stop further argument, I'll change my words... Ric doesn't voice his ACTIONS...

Ric was suddenly distracted from the impending tooth removal. He was used to hearing a voice in his head, a voice whose words he always tried to get out of his head for fear of losing his mind. But this was a new voice. A voice that was confident. A voice that was cocky. A voice that wasn't afraid to shoot first. And the voice said this:

"Ric, I know you better than you know yourself. As such, I'm removing all your previous thoughts regarding who you are."

Ric decided it wasn't worth arguing with the voice any longer.

"So doc," he said, "you want to hurry this up? I need to get back to my Attractive Army."
