Now I exalted you and your karma went back up to zero, but I can't smite you again. How does this work? Is it part of the RP?

No, it's a proboard feature. Smiting someone is evil so you get bad Karma, exalting them is repenting so you get good karma :-)

You used to be able to smite people officially with the proboard Karma system but I took it off...
