Geonosis an independant planet, called Geonosia by some natives, is the home planet of the Geonosians, the Confederacy's first capital.It was also a key location in the clone wars due to the two droid factorys on the planet.

Hoth is the sixth planet of the remote Hoth system. A desolate world covered with ice and snow, located in the Anoat sector.

The Galactic Center of Coruscant has been the political hub of the galaxy for millennia. It was generally agreed that Coruscant was, during most of Galactic history, the most politically important world in the galaxy. At various times, it was the capital of the Galactic Republic, the Galactic Empire, the New Republic, briefly the Empire Reborn, the New Republic again, the Yuuzhan Vong Empire occupation, the Galactic Alliance, the Fel Empire and Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire.

Naboo is a largely unspoiled world with large plains and forests and oceans. It is mostly known as the homeworld of notable historical figures who played major roles in the downfall of the Old Republic and the rise of the Galactic Empire, namely Padmé Amidala, Supreme Chancellor Palpatine and Jar Jar Binks.

Tatooine is thought to have been one of the oldest planets in known space and was composed of a molten core with a rocky mantle and silicate rock crust. Other notable geological features included the Dune Sea, an enormous desert, Mushroom Mesa, a vast formation of giant standing stones, and the Jundland Wastes, a rocky region.

Because Tatooine orbits two suns, Tatoo I and Tatoo II, the planet is covered in deserts and rock formations, while the days are extremely arid and bright, especially during double noon. In fact, it is so brightly lit by the suns from space it could appear to be a star itself. This was the case for the people who discovered Tatooine as they first thought Tatooine was in fact a star until they approached and discovered that it was a desert planet. Due to the extreme conditions, only a relatively mild region of its northern hemisphere was habitable.

Dagobah is a harsh, humid, swampy planet, mostly covered in shallow marshland, interspersed with stifling forests. There is very few truly open bodies of water on the planet: the water supply is thinly invested throughout the planet's main habitat, swampland, although there is vast expanses of mud fields. Dagobah is home to many creatures, such as bogwings, dragonsnakes, nudj, sleens, vine snakes, and swamp slugs. Examples of flora included the Gnarltree and Meat flower. The planet is devoid of any advanced civilization

Mustafar is a lava planet in the Mustafar system. The Mustafar system in the Outer Rim Territories is centered around the star Priate, around which orbit five planets, including Jestefad, Mustafar, and Lefrani.

The Forest Moon of Endor is a small forested moon orbiting the gas giant planet of Endor. An enchanted world, Endor is notable for being the native home of the Ewoks, and being the location of the Battle of Endor, which would result in the downfall of the Empire and the first death of the Emperor Palpatine.

Kamino is an Empire controlled ocean planet near the Rishi maze. It's inhabitants, the Kaminoans were commisioned to continue cloning storm troopers for the Galactic Empire.

Felucia is a fungus-covered, fairly inhospitable planet between Thanium and Mossak, and located near the Perlemian Trade Route. Felucia has strong ties to the Living Force, and as such the world's flora and fauna, including Felucians, can be influenced by a presence of a strong Force-user, both light and dark. Most plants and animals of Felucia have adapted special defenses to protect them from each other, which made them particularly hostile to the off-worlders.

Yavin 4 is one of three habitable moons orbiting the gas giant Yavin. It is mainly covered in jungle and rainforest. Yavin 4's large, sprawling tropical jungles teem with an abundance of life.Yavin 4 experiences two extreme seasons; a wet season which causes violent storms, and a corresponding dry season.

The Empire controlled planet Bespin is a gas giant that isabout 118,000 kilometers in diameter. Like most gas giants, it has a solid core made of metal followed by layers of metallic gases. Most of the layers of gas are poisonous, and the pressure and temperature are far above what a Human could tolerate. But from approximately 150 to 180 kilometers down from space, there is a habitable layer known as the Bespin Life Zone. This layer has an oxygen atmosphere with temperature and pressure suitable for Human life. It is in this layer that Cloud City is located. Like most gas giants, Bespin has a number of moons. It has a twelve-hour day, and completes a revolution around its sun about every fourteen years.
